Positive: If you are on vacation in Split, there’s only one apartment where you should stay: Ameli’s! 😍 She and her husband Christian were extremely kind and helpful, not only during check-in but throughout our entire stay, up until our departure when we had the chance to say goodbye before leaving. They will take care of you, whether you need anything to make your stay in the apartment perfect or to have the best experience in the city. Let them advise you on what to visit and how to make the most of it; they’ll show you the best parking spots to reach the center of Split, the top restaurants to eat at, and how to get to the islands if you want to take a trip (for example, Zlatni Rat). Also they knew we would be arriving with our cat Matisse and left us some treats🤗 The 4-star apartment is perfectly cleaned and equipped with every comfort. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking: a beautiful set of stainless steel pots, dishes and cutlery, cups for milk, and even plenty of cookies and all the essentials for breakfast. In the fridge, besides water, there are many drinks like beer and Coca-Cola, and you’ll even find a bottle of the famous Bol wine! They even offered us half a watermelon (very much appreciated)🥰 The air conditioning is only in the living room, but it’s so powerful that it can comfortably cool the whole house, especially the bedroom if you leave the door open. In the bedroom, the wardrobe is huge and comes with plenty of hangers for your clothes, and there’s also a chest of drawers if the wardrobe isn’t enough. At the entrance, there’s a cabinet for shoes and bags, as well as ironing supplies if you need them. Towels and sheets are provided, but there are extra sets in the closets if needed. The neighborhood where the apartment is located is a bit run-down but absolutely quiet and safe; we never felt in danger. You can park your car in the lot in front of the entrance; we always found a spot there, even with a very large car.
